Meylon Professional Terracotta Eyeshadow - 422 | Review and Swatches
Hi Girls,
It has finally stopped raining in Mumbai and I can finally wear anything I want. I love monsoon but what I hate about it is that you can't wear any good stuff because you will probably end up drenched in rain and spoil all your expensive clothes and jewellery. I can already feel the fall is here which brings me in the mood to wear darker lippies and cozier clothes. The product I will be reviewing today is perfect for the fall season coming soon. So I wanted to have this post up for you girlies. This eyeshadow is from the brand "Meylon". Some of you must be knowing this brand as it is available on Flipkart, amazon, and jabong. It is their eyeshadow in the variant 422 which is a warm toned orange shade which is so fall appropriate.
Meylon Professional Terracotta Eyeshadow - 422 |
- Price:
300 INR/- for 5 gm.
- Availablity:
It is available on Flipkart, amazon, and jabong as I mentioned earlier. I got it from a local beauty store on a discounted price. To get this eyeshadow CLICK HERE.
- Packaging:
Shade: 422 |
It comes in plastic packaging. It has a transparent top lid which shows the color of the eyeshadow. The bottom part has all the ingredient list mentioned along with the shade name and other relevant information. It doesn't have a mirror nor an applicator to apply the eyeshadow. The packaging is nice and travel friendly since the cap closes pretty tight.
- Texture and application:
It is shimmery in texture but the shimmers are not chunky. It is so smooth to apply and does not have fall outs. Even though this is an eyeshadow, it can be applied as blush and trust me girls it looks so beautiful as blush on our indian skin tone. This eyeshadow is such a multitasking product because you can use this as eyeshadow or as blush or in centre of your lips on top of any lipstick to give your lips that metallic look and dimension or darker skin beauties can use this to highlight their skin. This really compliments our indian skintone really well since it has orange undertones.
- Pigmentation and Longevity:
I literally cried after swatching this guys! (Not really :p) The pigmentation is on point. One swipe and you get the intense color payoff. It is comparable to some of the high end eyeshadows. You don't even need eyeshadow primer beneath this eyeshadow as it is highly pigmentated and last long. As a blush it lasts upto 6+ hours after which the color is faded and only shimmers are visible.
- Swatches:
Swatch on my hands |
You can see in the swatches how intensely pigmented this stuff is. It gives a light sheen on the skin which is not chunky and metallic when applied as a blush.
- Rating:
5/5 (I love it <3)
- Yay or Nay:
Do I really have to say? Ofcourse YAY! I don't have even a single bad thing to say about this eyeshadow. I so freaking love it. Must give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Pinky promise ;-) :-P
