Glamcom 15 Color Velvet Eyeshadow Palette - 04 | Dupes of Morphe Single Matte Eyeshadows

Hey Girls,

Today I will be reviewing an eyeshadow palette for you girlies and guess what? It has some of the dupes of Morphe's single matte eyeshadows. Morphe Brushes is a foreign brand and is specialized in manufacturing makeup brushes, brush sets, eye shadow palettes and more. Sadly it is not available in India and it is so difficult to get your hands on the Morphe products. I got this palette from the brand Glamcom as a gift on my birthday and it was lying around in my vanity from so many . I was just going through Morphe's website and saw their single eyeshadows and their swatches and I thought I have some of the shadows in a palette which are similar to them. So I had to review this palette for you girls.

So this palette is by the brand "GLAMCOM" in the variant 04. It is their 15 color velvet eyeshadow. It has all the matte shadows in it. You will not find even a single shimmery or glittery shade in it. So if you are looking for good matte eyeshadows then this post is for you.

• Availability:

• Packaging:

It comes in off-white plastic case packaging having the brand name, ingredients and other relevant information engraved on it in golden. When opening the palette you get a big size mirror which is the best thing, 2 sponge applicators and plastic shield which have all the numbers of the eyeshadows. I wish they had names instead of numbers that would have been great but meh whatever! The packaging feels heavy but cheap. As you can see in the pictures the letters engraved on it is starting to rub off and it has not even been a year since I have this palette with me.

• Texture and Application:

The texture is matte. It applies smoothly with fingers but with brushes, you will find a few fall outs so need to be careful with the eyeshadows. If you do not use an eyeshadow primer than they won't show up as much but that happens with most of the matte eyeshadows. 

• Pigmentation and Longevity:

The pigmentation is Bam!  But little chalky since the palette contains talc as one of their ingredients. All the shadows are highly pigmentated but they are not easily blendable so have to use a transition color or have to set the eyeshadow primer with a powder for these shadows to blend easily. With eyeshadow primer, it lasts up to 6 hours on my oily lids. So remember to use good eyeshadow primer when playing with these colors.

Disclaimer: These are not exact dupes because I do not own any Morphe eyeshadows but I did some research and by seeing all the swatches online I could say these come really close.

• Yay or Nay:

Definitely YAY! This palette is worth giving a try. Considering the price point you get 15 nice quality matte eyeshadows for Rs. 699 and on top of that they have almost 8 eyeshadows which are dupes of Morphe Eyeshadows. I mean seriously what more could you ask for? So thumbs up from me.
