Himalaya Herbals Gentle Exfoliating Scrub with Natural Vitamin E

Hi Girls,Winters are finally arriving! But what I hate about winters is that flaky and dry skin. The best way to keep your skin moisturized and hydrated is to drink lots of water and moisturize our skin properly. But all those things are not enough and we need to take extra step in our CTM(cleansing, toning and moisturizing) regime which is scrubbing. There are so many scrubs available in the Indian market and I am reviewing this Himalaya Gentle Exfoliating Scrub which I use. This scrub is enriched with vitamin E, Apricot and Wheatgerm oil.

Apricot, Wheatgerm oil and Apple.

• Packaging:

The packaging is pretty basic and comes in a white plastic tube with a green flip flop cap. The front side of the tube has the brand name and weight of the product whereas the backside has directions, ingredients, price etc mentioned on it. The packaging is simple and convenient.

• Texture and formula:

The scrub cream is white in colour and has minute apricot granules. These granules are really small in size so it is good for removing those white heads and black heads. Hence this scrub is good for using twice or thrice in a week but cannot be used on a daily basis because it could be little abrasive on the skin. It contains vitamin E, apricot and wheatgerm oil. Vitamin E and wheatgerm oil has antioxidant and antiaging properties, repairs skin tissues and prevents skin problems. Apricot scrub gently exfoliates dead skin cells and blackheads, unclogs pores, and deep cleanses the skin. It stimulates fresh cell growth to keep the skin smooth and radiant. This scrub has a medicinal smell which I find a bit weird since Himalaya is supposed to be an herbal brand.

• YAY or NAY:

This product worked for me because I have some stubborn white heads and with the frequent use of this scrub, I was able to reduce them from my skin. It has a weird medicinal scent which might be a problem for some but I do not mind since it does a pretty good job for me. It doesn't remove those whiteheads and blackheads completely but reduces them to some extent. Overall a YAY from me.
